The following players have been selected to play for the 1st Team against West Park Leeds away at Bramhope.

Kick off at 2.15pm. Players meet at 12 at the club. All players are asked to travel in their club warm up kit and have club shirt and tie for after the game.

Ripon R U F C’s under 13’s travelled to Huddersfield on the 28th October 2007.
Ripon carried on their excellent form by beating Huddersfield by 10-37.This game being the fifth victory out of five for Ripons youngsters. (more…)

There is a full committee meeting tonight at 7.30 pm.  The meeting has been brought forward to avoid a clash with bonfire night next Monday.

Ripon U15s had their best result of the season this weekend when visiting Huddersfield. An almost full squad turned out and showed what they can do in building on the good performances of last year. (more…)

Reminder that the U18 county game kicks off at 14.00 today so come along and lend your support.  The bar will also be open for the afternoon.

Ripon returned to winning ways yesterday and maintained their unbeaten home league run.  In what was a very close game it was sheer guts, determination and good discipline that allowed Ripon to claim the victory.  WH put up an excellent performance and a well drilled pack had the better of a depleted Ripon 8 at the set piece.  (more…)

Good luck to the 7 players from our development squad who are in action this Sunday. Alex Black will represent Yorkshire Under 18’s against Northumberland. The game kicks of at 2.00pm at Ripon.

North Yorkshire Under 17’s are in action at York RI at 1.00pm on Sunday as players trial for the Yorkshire squad. Ripon will be well represented with 6 players on show. The players involved are Rob Wilson (prop), Stuart Cross (lock), Alexander Hanson (No.8), Sam Watkinson (fly-half), Graham Currigan (centre/wing) and James Rowntree (wing).

Yorkshire U18’s open their county programme at Ripon RUFC on Sunday when they take on Northumberland.  The county U18’s lead by Andy Rickard will be looking to get their programme off to the best possible start as these talented youngsters head on the path to representative rugby.  A number of the players involved including our own Alex Black have already made their international debuts so get along along on Sunday to enjoy the future stars of the game at Mallorie Park.  The game kicks off at 14.00 and the bar will be open for the afternoon.

The club’s junior players are sporting a smart new look thanks to Alison Herbert & Co. Solicitors who are the main shirt sponsor for this season.  Alison was on hand last week to formally make the presentation to Mairead Hurley, secretary of the junior section.
