The under 11’s headed off to Harrogate on Sunday for their first tilt at the Yorkshire Cup. In order to make the first round draw they were faced with playing Selby, York and the hosts Harrogate.

The first game saw Ripon take on Selby. A good performance was on for the first game of the day and the vocal Ripon supporters wern’t to be let down. In an exciting match Ripon ran out 3-0 winners with trys from George Petts, Charlie Yates and Tom Newby with Selby being put under pressure for most of the match

it was decided to play a number of ten minute matches.
